Between $200-$400 for powder coating rims. Price varies b/c of different shops and colors. It will stand up to the test of time better than paint, but paint is about 10x cheaper.

I'm currently getting some wheels done in a textured black powder coat. From when I was shopping around my area I was mostly quote around $300, most quotes were for PC only - stripping would be additional. My wheels are 18x9 cast aluminum and were already PC'd. I ended up going with a well known local company and the end price is $280 which includes liquid stripping, minor curb rash repair on 3/4 wheels, and fresh PC.

$50-70 per wheel with possibly extra for stripping depending on the place seems to be "normal" pricing. Hope this helps a bit, good luck!

I had my stock wheel powder coated black with an extra coat of clear over the top for 300 bucks a year ago and still look new. Def. worth it.

What happens if the wheels have plastic centercaps? (Obviously not an EVO wheel) what do the powder coating guys do with the plastic? Any thoughts?

Some shops are able to do plastics with a low temp coating process...

The plastic center cap won't be powder coated, at least I wouldn't experiment with it.
Some plastic is able to be powder coated, but there will be a big mess if that plastic happens to not like the heat.

Most powder coating places will not include stripping/media blasting in their prices.
The prep work is the hardest thing about coating wheels and gets pretty expensive as most media blasting places charge around $100 per hour.

Make sure to ask if the stripping/media blasting is included as this will completely change the price if it's not included. If they tell you media blasting is not necessary, go somewhere else.

Place I've had do a lot of work... good quality fabrication and powdercoating... $35 a wheel... so $140.. maybe if there is interest I'll ask him what he'd charge for shipping to/from him as well.
