I change mine every 60K. Depends on the plugs you run...

60K, no. 6k, yes (at least on an VIII, as I see you have a IX). NGK Coppers every other oil change. Granted they are inexpensive, but offer the best performance (in my experience). Changing the plugs only takes 10-20 minutes tops (including gapping, anti-seize, and grease). Some will scream waste of money, but to each there own. I enjoy it

That is just overkill and does absolutely nothing for performance. You should never have to replace a plug that has under 50k (a good plug).

It is overkill but I do it anyway. $8 for some plugs is not much on top of the oil change.

Unfortunately, plugs for the IX cost a lot more than $8.

Yea then I wouldn't change them as often if I had iridium plugs. My car came with iridium plugs and i replaced them after about 18k. I switched to copper plugs now

I wish, it's 9.50 a plug which still isn't that bad. I just buy a couple sets at a time. Her's got an 8 so he can run the cheap copper plugs, I should have bought an 8! lol

there is NO need to change your plugs every oil change, unless your running nitro methane or 50lbs of boost...

I got BPR8EIX and only change every 60 or so.

Every oil change seems a little rough.
But I guess yes, if you are running a lot boost or meth...

But really get really good plugs and then get coil packs.
