Old evo owner looking for cheaper evo for daily

Well guys, I sold my black 05 evo 8 in dec. I felt I was paying too much for the car and decided to get rid of it. I REGRET it terribly!

So I have been looking for some cheaper evos.

I found an 03 evo 8 GSR. I have looked at it, driven it, got a clean carfax. I would be 3rd owner. The car drove great, nice smooth pull all the way to redline. Trans shifted better than my 05 did. No tcase whines, no grinds or anything.

Right now the car is at 78k. It has a sunroof, interior is a 7/10(clean for an 03) Exterior is a 8.5/10.

AMS did the following to the car 6 months ago.
Timing belt
Balancer belt
timing idler pulley
timing tensioner pulley
balancer tensioner pulley
auto tensioner
waterpump
water pipe kit?
trans, tcase, rear diff fluid change with redline oils
mr IX bov
Megan header
new front struts
Tune @27psi putting down 325whp/325tq
There is some other stuff also that was on the invoice too, I cant remember.

The car is also lowered on tein springs, its got a straight thru 3" turboback exhaust with a Magnaflow tip, Injen Intercooler pipes, Injen intake, OBX front mount, Hallman mbc and an Exedy twin disc clutch.

What you guys think? Deal for $14.7k. I would pay no more than 15k total, its a private sale, so sales tax is $80!

I also get all the stock parts too.

If I get another evo though, Im trying to stay under $15k. I will drive it for a few years then build it later. So I am startin to think, why spend the extra now, if I plan on building anyway in the future?

car also was a bone stock car with the first owner up till 71k. Then 2nd owner got the car, installed mods, took it to AMS and had it tuned. Car just hit 78k.

27psi seems high, try calling AMS to make sure it's not a mistake or asking them about it (and while you at it, get an opinion about the car if you can) IMO if it what you want, the car sounds like a good deal to me.

What is wrong with you people? 27psi is not high, I have run 30-31 psi on straight pump 93 on a stock turbo all last year.

It's all in who tunes it and how well it is tuned.

Fyi 27psi is on the safe side for 93 pump.

He wants something more sporty! AKA s2k.

Its not gonna work out anyway. Because of my banks financing options, I would be looking at paying around 350 a mo for 4 years.

I can have an evo 9 for 329 a mo.

So its a simple decision.

I hope the car isn't pulling timing or has knock counts
