Tb/feeler? Help
Tb/feeler? Help
I am new to this forum. I just sold my srt4 and am looking to buy an evo. i have seen a few good ones on here. But i am wondering what does TB mean and FEELER? I am sure i can look it up but would rather have someone post up directly to me. And anything else i may not know. Also what some good mods too look for are. I have been looking an on most cars i am looking to buy have either arc, buschur, works, perrin, or something good on them. I never delt with any of these name brands with my srt4 or civic so if someone could throw me some pointers it wouldbe helpful. thanks in advanced.
TB most likely means Tarmac Black. It's a color that was offered for VIII-IX (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Also a Feeler is a thread created where someone is simply testing the waters. The member is typically starting a thread to see how much interest there is for his/her vehicle. If an attractive offer is made a sale is typically made.
As far as the which mods you should go with....you need to search and see what you like. Don't be lazy. Do the legwork. You're better off in the long run.

TB is also short for Throttle Body
The butterfly valve that connects the LICP (Lower Intercooler Pipe) to the IM (Intake Manifold). It's drive-by-wire in the Evo X, meaning a solenoid swings the butterfly valve open based on an electrical signal from the "gas" pedal, and in the Evo VIII's and IX's a cable is directly linked to the butterfly valve and swings it open.
Oh and see my signature for a pointer at a notorious name brand... search for their threads.
