Evo X license bracket or RRM for GTS?

Evo X license bracket or RRM for GTS?
Can the OEM X bracket be used for a GTS? I filled the holes in my bumper and plasti-dipped over the middle. WA requires front plates...so I am wanting to do the side mount plate. The RRM kit is 50 bucks...but I can get the OEM bracket and plugs for $30....anyone tried it?
