New Guy
Haven't been on in awhile, Lots has happened over the summer. I now am a full time father with a 1 1/2mo old daughter, I've been busy working, and I'm in the USAF. Been quite busy haha, but still looking for a nice evo, preferably unmodded or under 18k. I live in NJ now and pretty much looking in the tristate area, NJ/PA/DE , but even Maryland and surrounding states.
Bought an 03 Evo yesterday.
Definately had to wash her, she was covered in salt.
Not sure everything it has, we're trying to figure that out.
03 with 60k miles

some 3" exhaust that hangs 2" off the ground
we think 272 cams, tuned for meth but meth kit missing
new clutch, definately not oem
this is my first evo so i'm trying to learn and i got a buddy who's had one for years helping me learn my way around this car. loving every minute of it. lol

well it's definitely got some aftermarket suspension, and bigger intercooler from what I can see. congrats on the purchase. first thing to do is find some OEM IX, or JDM tails, a stock hood, and stock wing lol

Welcome, I am a new Evo 8 owner too. I just bought it about 3 weeks ago and I'm loving every bit of it. Only thing is that's it's a gas guzzler. I'm thinking about buying a DD and the Evo as a weekend car. Hopefully you get an Evo soon and have fun!
dont' you hate when the previous owner sold you the car and has no idea what really in it. I bought mine and the guy said it has a exedy twin and I don't even know if it really does
Yeah, I'm learning bit by bit, apparently no one maint. the transfer case and it got the deathwhine and now i'm hunting for money and somewhere to rebuild it.
