What will I run
What will I run
I know you guys probably dont like these questions because they are not reasonable due to outside factors/driver/ect...
But lets assume a perfect launch and perfect shifts..
I'm driving a 2,800lb evo with a 2.3L making 450whp, exedy twin disc on an FP Red.
What times can I be expecting? I dont drag race at all, just Time Attack but thats why I'm asking
255/40/17 HTR ZIII's

there is no telling until you get out there and run it. For that weight and power you should net low 11s.........maybe a high 10 depending on your driving skill. There is just to many factors that come into play.
why not? I would do it just to see. Whats the point of building it? I understand you autocross, but its always nice to know your 1/4. You should have no problems, and if you do then you found the weak link you need to fix anyway.

It could break into the 10s with that kind of power. We had a guy locally run 11.3 on a stock turbo at barely over 400whp on MD. The car was around 3k lb, but the driver is right around 300. so 3300lb with driver. another 50whp and shave off 350lb, with a 1.6x or better 60' on some good tires and perfect shifts, it would go 10s. I really have no doubt.
I've always tried to do that launching method but never got it to work, do you let off the two-step as you're letting off the e-brake or what?
WHAT?!?!?! why do you have the ebrake on....u just have it in first gear, with the clutch pushed in and hit the gas it will hit what seems like rev limiter at about 5500 depending on what you set it at...the car will build boost and then you slip the clutch like your pulling ur foot out of dog ****
and go!
E-Brake pulled (with finger on the button) to hold the car; up on the two-step, let out clutch just enough to load the drivetrain so you can feel it pull on the E-brake, then you're ready to launch / let the e-brake go.
That's what takes out the backlash in your drivetrain and "pre-loads" everything so you don't shock it... that way you don't see your transfer case parts on the strip
