Hello! new to the forum
Hello! New to the forum and recently became an evo owner. Looking forward to learing as much as possible about evo’s. I have wanted an evo since 2004 when my friend got a new bby evo and showed up in my driveway with it. After the first time I drove it I knew that was the car I wanted.
So a little background. My first car was a 95 Dodge Stealth r/t twin turbo. Loved it. Tons of power and instant turbo spool. I loved the awd and the was amazed by the handling for such a heavy car. The problem was that it was an expensive car to own at 17 and extremely difficult to work on for a novice. So I sold it. Still regret it but I was financially troubled at the time.
Next car was a 94 BMW 540i… Converted it to an M5 the best I could. Loved how comfy it was.. Hated how boring it was to drive and living in NH it was a summer only car. So sold that also.
So my next car was a 2002 Subaru wrx. Was a great car. Kept it stage 2 for the first year I owned it. The car was great to drive decently fast and very good in the snow. Then at 140k miles it spun a bearing. So I decided to go for a little more power with the new engine. I was not planning on selling but got a great offer right after the new engine that I could not pass up. And saw the opportunity to afford an evo.
So this past Friday I bought a 2006 black evo ix. It was a one owner car and has been very well cared for. I love the evo, Such a blast to drive!
So I will be reading a lot here and asking for advice (don’t worry I know where the search button is) And slowly modding it to get what I want out of it. I’ve been over on Nasioc and my local Subaru forum for a year or so now and love it there. So anyways hello and I’ll be here to stay now!
Here is pics of my previous cars and some pics of the new evo.
So the stealth.

Looks like fun eh?

And then the Bmw.
