Need opinions, the Z's not cuttin' it.

Edit: I'm aiming for either next year, or after that, but since I'm extremely impatient, most like next year, to pick up an Evo, but am looking for some opinions on how to go about doing it.
I'll own ~$13k on my Z next year, and if I am looking to sell, how much do you all think I could get for it? It's an '03 and will have ~50k on it, really low miles for it's age. All stock, and extremely babied. I'm thinking that I might, MIGHT, break even on a private sale.. Then I can take out a loan from the bank to look for a nice Evo. What do you guys think?

Hey everyone, I've been lurking as a guest for a couple of years now, but figured I'd join since I've got an Evo on my want list now.
I'm definitely not new to Mitsubishi, as I've owned a few DSM's, two GS's and a GSX in the past, you know.. before they all fell apart. Haha'.
I've got an 03' Z now, and it's not exactly a family car.. which being the only guy and driver, is not one bit practical.
I'll probably be in the market for an VIII or IX within the next year, but just figured I ought to learn a bit first.
So anyways, just saying what's up.

Since you're new, Evos are not DSMs. Welcome to the forum.

There's a DSM/Evo Shootout every year, most people relate the two. What I meant to say was, "..not new to Mitsubishi..".

That was my thought when I bought it.. but I guess I'm regretting it a little bit now.
It's either buy another car, most likely a project car with more than just two seats, but then I'll have two cars that I want to play with.. just my personality.. not to mention my girlfriend wanting to kill me if I were to do that, or lose the Z and look for an Evo in a year or so.. that seems to be the best option for me.
I'm thinking that by that time, I'll be able to sell the Z private party, for around what I will owe on it, that way not losing any money on it really.. then look around for the perfect VIII or IX.

Man good luck with selling that thing for 13k or so. You can get 03 Z cheaper then that now in days. thats alot and the evo is not going to be cheaper by any means LOL. You will be hard pressed to sell that thing in this economy. Also consider if you cant sell it you definatly dont want to be upside down on payments from trading it in either for sure.
