flash tuning

i want to send my ecu to have it flash tune is it worth or should i go to dyno shop i dont have much spare time to take it to the shop?

I would not send my ECU anywhere! You have other options. You can hit up mellon, who does remote tunes, where you datalog your own car, send him logs and he makes adjustments to the tune, from lookin at the logs... No down time! But requires some hardware/software!
You can have a local that has an idea of what hes doin, have him take a look.
Or you can take it to a shop.... It all depends on your situation...

You could always go with the Cobb AP and some OTS maps.

My suggestion, make time and do it right. Nonschlont^ hit the nail on the head, "Go Mellon" or go home. His work/results speak for themselves.

I will data log it and email it . I figure it will take a few emails before I get it tune right.

Usually it doesn't take too long.

List what you have on the car and they have a base flash.
Then log and send it into them.

Sorry to say, but Cobb AP is a waste of money, and OTS tunes are bs!

EcuFlash is free, and Evoscan is a cheap donation. Depending on your location, find a good tuner nearby and have them road tune or dyno tune your car!
