hey guys, i currently drive an 05 blacked out xterra. i sold my 04 wrx (sti clone) for the xterra. wrong move in my book. i recently got the truck, its not bad but not what im used to. i hear all the talk about evo vs sti and from what im hearing evo wins 99% of the time, correct me if im wrong....

long story short im trying to get my xterra loan as low as humanly posible and at the same time shopping for an evo. i want an evo 8 or 9. an evo x seems too pricey. id trade my xterra straight up for an evo if the bank approves the lien transfer.

anyone on here from western ny?? buffalo, rochester, ect??
i really wanna know my **** before buying one. im sure wrx's are totally different than evos. any advice is helpful on finding the right priced evo. thanks guys!!

try and trade in your xterra for a evo

 

i just got the truck two months ago, so trading it in would put me in the hole. its too boring to me. banking on a guy who wants to trade his evo for a family suv. lol. i know im asking for alot here. if i cant trade it ill drop as much money as i can down on the loan then trade it in.

 

Just do what I did and buy both. lol

 

haha maybe if rent was free. i just want one so damn bad after i got rid of the subie. i miss the speed and turbo spoolin up.... dumb move on my part!

any year/ trim recommendations on the evo? i cant afford an evo x but 8 or 9 is more my range. ive been reading alot about the MR having issues with the 6 speed.(correct me if im wrong)

 

Ive heard of those issues also, but I have zero first hand experience

 

im for sure getting an evo asap. so hopefully i can get rid of the xterra
