Buschur turbo back exhaust question

Pardon me if this has been asked before, I am interested in the Buschur turbo back exhaust with catalyst delete.

Will it throw a check engine light?

It will trigger a CEL with the cat delete pipe.

I am not sure if they have their fix yet. The CEL from what I have heard does not change the car at all.

I've had Buschurs 3" turbo back on the car for a while now, 9k miles and the light has been on the whole time. Runs fine.

Boost gauge covers up the light.

I think Buschur revised the rear o2 sensor bung (I think its shrouded from the exhaust stream) to eliminate the CEL light.. Just give them a call.. Because removing the catalytic converter is Illegal on street cars, its possible they won't list it on their site anymore.

I have BR's 3" turbo back. Without the cat the car drove fine for a couple of days then when the weather got colder(around 40 degrees) it kept on throwing the check engine light so I put on the cat and havent seen any other CEL lights. I could feel that I lost about 5-8hp and spoolup from having a cat.

We have fixed the CEL problem with the offroad pipe. We do not advertise the stuff anymore because of the problems with the EPA we had recently.

You will NOT get a CEL with the offroad pipe in our system.
