hi guys, currently have an 08 subaru impreza 2.5i and wanted something more so i'm looking at an evo IX. found one here.

we've agreed on a trade in price between 11 and 12k. only problem is the pricing on the evo seems high for that many miles when I can get a new X for the same price at another dealer. My question is what is the most you guys would pay for that? I've run carfax and everything looks good so yeah. Hopefully I'll be a part of the evo community soon.

 

the picture is of an evo 8, but the price is a it high. Thats what you get when you deal with dealerships so stay away from dealers they always charge at least $3k over the private sellers price

 

But alot of times dealers may work on the price with you a bit more (being that its marked up so much), as well as offer financing. Depends on the situation he's in.

 

this is quite confusing here. it looks like the 8 but autocheck and carfax say its an IX.

 

so i've been looking into this and ran the carfax report and it says its a 2006 evo but the pictures from the dealership show the VIII interior and front bumper but when i talked to the dealer to ask which one it was he said it was a 6 speed. I'm going to check it out on wednesday and see whats up.

Called the dealer and decided to pass up this evo. He insists its a 9 but the interior and front match the 8 so I don't know whats up with that. going to check out an sti limited tomorrow.
