Evo Turbo on a DSM

Will a evo turbo work on a dsm? and if yes will it bolt right up?

The evo 8 and 9 turbos will definitely not bolt right up.

Unless the turbo came from a REALLY old Evo... like the 1-4s or so.

If you have a DSM, the only generations of Evo's you can use the turbos from are Evo I, II, or III. In 1996, the Evo IV came out and the engine and transaxle were rotated 180° to better balance the weight and eliminate torque steer, making it impossible to bolt on a turbo from that year on. Do some searches for evo316g, try Slow Boy Racing, STM, or Road Race Engineering; that is the turbo from the Evo III and it is a great turbo to get any DSM into the 270-350hp range. Hope this helps?!
