I know a lot of other car forums do this, Supra's hondas everyone else. And i'm not sure if this has ever been discussed but what's the chance of evom putting on national meet? I'm sure the turn out would be awesome pick a central location have dyno, 1/4 road course.. Just an idea I thought about after reading over on supraforums about there latest meet. Any ideas, dislikes?

 

that sounds great. i was part of another forum that would do this (along with other car forums) and the participation is humongous. people would drive across the country just for the meet that lasted several days (a week? can't remember)

and it wasn't just a couple hundred of cars, it would number in the thousands. but i'm no longer part of the Z forums as i sold mine a couple weeks ago and will be purchasing an evo end of april

Yeah ive wondered this for a long time. Supraforums has TX2k and SILV. If we could do something like that in the Evo community it would be ridiculous. I think FL area would be a good choice. you can have it in oct and its still 80 degrees but not peak season so hotels and flights are cheaper.

 

i posted this same idea a few months back and everyone said theres never been such a thing. i know the s2000 people have homecoming 2 coming up here in sept. I can't wait for that.

 

Every August BR host the shootout in Ohio. That and MOD in CA every year as well.

These two events will probably net you the most Evos in one spot you'll ever see.

 

some of my friends have been to the dsm shootout at BR and said it is a blast. i am from the cleveland area but live in north carolina now, where i just purchased my evo. i plan to attend this august though

 

There should be a west coast meet, maybe in Cali or something. I'm from Cleveland, and have attended every BR Shootout for the last 6 years, but now that I'm in AZ, I don't think I'll be attending those anymore.

We should definitely get a giant meet going here on the west coast.

I know buschur does there thing but i was looking for more of all vendors, shop all get together.. Take the Supra meet, Titan, Boost Logic, SP they all get together selling competing see what each other got. I think a central location would be great. We can do Texas, flordia, chicago.. anyone of those. It would just take the vendors and shops to all want to get involved to make this possible. I'd be willing to work out as much details as I could on my end find a great location etc.

 

yea flordia or texas is ideal for me i cant be driving to cali and hell even br shootout is waaaaaaaaaay to far from me i might go this year if my evo is together but that might be it need a huge meet down south my way.,

 

Thats why there is a DSM ShootOut for both DSM's and EVO's.
