How much life left after 76k miles?
i got my 03 evo not too long ago as well. 65k on it. all stock was what they told me. but nope looked at the back end and boom aftermarket exhaust. i was like hmmm, kinda wanted all stock for reliability issues. but oh well. still got it and am happy. runs good so far. i have no plans for it though as i race with my s14.
Bought my 2005 Evo 8 with 72k from a dealership in Tucson roughly 2.5 months ago...had full bolt ons, and running strong as ever...no whine from the t-case, no ticks from the engine, no leaks, no grinds in the tranny, smooth as hell.
Since purchasing it, I've already invested an additional $3k in mods, and I'm just getting started!
So I think you should be fine with 76k, especially if it looks to be in good condition, sounds normal, and drives great.
