Hey everyone, My name is Brandon, I live in South Bend, IN. Figured I would join because Quite a few of my friends are on here, and I am actually on the fence of selling my dd WRX and getting in to an Evo. After running my friend joels (name might be JTyler on here? not sure) And had a blast in it, The way it drove down the track, the way it launched, the power, It is just crazy! Very impressed by his car. Until I got in my buddy mikes fully build buschur evo with the fp black. He put down 430whp on buschurs dyno on pump gas, I went 12.46@115. Granted that I was shifting at 6800 (didnt find out till after that his motor revs out to 8400. turbo spools at 4400), first time ever driving his car (have a exedy twin disk in my silver wrx but his is by far stiffer and wayy different), and missing 4th gear. I soon realized that I needed one. The power you get from these things are just insane! AND FOR SO CHEAP!! I know you all know this already haha but ill tell you a little bit about myself and what I own.

Last year on stock motor I went 11.71@118 spinning through 1st and letting off 80' out due to my speed limiter still being set (JDM Ver7 ecu's are between 123-125? Cant remember which)

Subie looks good.Keep it as dd and still get Evo.Tak about non stop attention.

 

Get a RS model of the Evo. No spoiler = not so much attention from the po po.

Haha I am not worried about the attention by the cops around me, When my silver car was running, it was my dd, with a 3" Straight Pipe, and I never had any issues with cops, Plus I know quite a few of them around here. I love wingless, but for some reasons, I dont know if it is the pictures or what, but some evo's just dont look so great or flow very well being wingless and then some just make me cream myself. I really like the wings on the evo. Im not sure though.

Update:

When you ask to have something overnighted to you, shipping companies decide that you are just joking about overnight and that you really wanted 3 days shipping Got my new STi crank today (since the douchers at Shaker Racing put a knick in mine and as we were rotating the last rod to make sure it spun good with no catches, it put a nice ol' grove in my bearing. Block is together, well we need a ring file to file the rings and then pistons go in, should be together tomorrow and well be able to put the motor in the car.


Is anyone going to be at winged warrior?

Haha well I am waiting to see the money from 1 of the 3 people wanting to buy my blue one, I need to find one around the 12-16k range. Preferably Evo VIII, Silver, White, Red, Or Black. I Wouldnt mind the sun roof either. I know some of you will probably be like wtfbbq? But it will be my DD, with bolt ons and looks. Anywhere in the midwest I guess.

I can haz yours? Looks to be exactly what I want to do to an Evo. I would really like to do evo ix turbo. After driving and riding in jtylers. GAH! Honest to god, and this is probably because I havent driven the silver car, and very used to the slowness of the blue car, but his car felt just as fast or close to as fast as my silver car.

 

I think driving like a normal human being with a functioning brain = not so much attention from the po po.

I've owned two Evos, and in both I was without plates (front or rear) for a LONG time before I had them installed, and I never had a single issue with any police, and they're very strict where I am.
