Hey guys I just got my new evo viii from a dealer and I was wondering if there is a way to find out if it has been tuned or tuned by an access port? I only have injen charge piping and injen intake for performance parts. This car pulls very hard enough to put ya in the seat. Boost gauge tops at 20 psi. Does not feel like a stock set up???

 

I would say take it to a tuner and find out, or buy a tactrix cable and pull the ecu rom and look at it, and do some logging with evoscan. Problem is if it's tuned, you can never get your stock ROM back.

 

could be reflashed but you'd have to get it looked at. does it have an exhaust?

 

stock boost is 20psi so that's normal. like everyone said, take it to a tuner and get it checked out.

 

No exhaust just the stock one. Maybe it has just a factory tune after all this is my first awd turbo car. Im not complaining (lol). I really Love this car and now my friend is seriously looking at buying one. I got him hooked!!!!!!!!!!!! I will check it out.. Thanks guys
