Clutch kit and flywheel (help)

i have a 2003 evo needed a new clutch i bought a gripforce clutch kit,it in the shop now but i dnt understand when guy says u might have 2 face the flywheel whats that mean?what does the flywheel have 2 do with clutch?and should i face if it needs facen or what is the outcome if i dnt? an just install the clutch kit.. thanks

He is talking about having your flywheel resurfaced which is a good idea when replacing the clutch should be cheap.

yes resurface can a stock flywheel be resufaced on the evo
