its more of a family thing, we have a tendency to keep cars well over 8 years. or well its when i think i will have enough money to buy another car. not just a car but a car that i want. which will be in the 40-60k price range.

40-60k you get tons of options. think about practicality when you are owning a car for that long. I think of c63 or m3.. but the ownership cost/maintenance costs are really painful, especially when you see 1000+ for front rotor/brake jobs...or 2-3000 for new tires. (M3 has different front/rear wheel sizes) on the other hand if you are thinking about 40-60k for total ownership cost for 8 years. mr is an excellent option. you can probably get a mr for 35-36k and you can pay insurance /mods with the rest of the money.

335i is a nice car.. why not just keep it and let your sister get a new car?

sorry the 40-60k i was talking about was for a car later on after 8 years or so not now. and bmw has free maintenance for all new cars. and for m3 your looking at around 2k for new rft tires. which are terrible btw.... they handle great but the ride on them is ridiculously bad.

my sister being the older one got the say on who keeps and who gets a new car. she wanted to keep it. though i love that 335i...

on a other note, what kind of price range should i look for on a 2010 evo x mr with navigation.
