Looking at a 03 Evo, what do the experts think?

http://clients.automanager.com/01165...a72df259615775

I am looking at the above evo and if I were to get it then one of the first things that I would do is to remove that garish hood. I have been lurking on the site for a while and read quite a few informative posts so I am pretty sure what to look for when at the dealership. These include the whine from the transfer case, gear grinding, clutch slipping and then some of the odds and ends. Now, seeing as how many of you have a much better idea of how these cars should look, can you give me some ideas on what you think of the car? Thank you all very much, I appreciate it.

Clean as hell for an 03 dealer car. Should be able to come down a wee bit in price for the mileage.

Just take into consideration what a new hood and paint costs. An oem hood is like 1k or so plus painting. Alot of times, it's just cheaper to hold out and get what you want rather than changing out a lot of things. I've been looking for a year or so and I don't think I'm very picky.

Looks like the front undertray is missing, and the two plastic inserts in the front bumper. You can see the floor!

Also the 2003 wing is stripped of paint and now is all cleared carbon, looks good on that car.

Exterior looks clean. Def get a previous maintenence record on it. Always good to know when the water pump and oil pump were all replaced and if there was any work done inside the engine. Stuff like that

would definitely change the hood for a stock one, get a new undertray, paint the wing back to the original color, put a better looking exhaust on it, change the wheels back to stock or the mr or se bbs ones, and change the head unit out for a stock one.

Thank you all! Yeah I was looking at the price for an oem hood so I was factoring that into my cost analysis. Thanks for pointing out the undertray! I did not even see that when looking at the pictures. I am along the same lines as far as wanting to change out the exhaust and the wheels, the rest of the car looks really clean. The dealer said that since they bought it from auction they do not have any of the maintenance records but that they got a "green light" guarantee saying that the car works. But we all know that works does not mean anything when it comes to a car lasting. I should be driving it here in a day or so, so I will post extra pictures for you.

I should definitely be able to get them to come down on price, evo's around here are a little bit more rare but the prices are really soft here because of the economy. I was thinking around 13k?
