3000gt VR4 to 02' lancer OZ

i . . .KNOW. . . . this forum is helpfull, thats why I come here. . SOOOO this is to prove to others how HELPFUL this form is.

Well I just bought a 02 Lancer OZ, My friend kinda turned me to lancer's.
He has an EVO X that's stock boosted close to 25 PSI. I'm proud to say he did get an edged on my stock VR4 when we were playing around.

Ok, I just bought an 02' OZ lancer for 1500 bucks. The catch; He took the motor out about 3 moths ago to have it fully built, but money got short and so did time. So what i have now is car that i need to put the motor back in. I might be in a lil over my head, buy it's ok. . lol. He said it was running when he pulled it out. Has 130k on the clock.

My question is what should i replace before putting it back in, im just trying to do minimal maintenance. So far, i plan to do water pump and timing belt what else should i consider. .

Ohh, and is it hard to reinstall, I don't think it will get as complicated as the VR4, but are there things i should look out for.

Thanks . . .

Hook a starter to it and check its compression better now then back in and have to tear it out.

If its all good probably the only thing you need to worry about is the timing belt.
