I posted a while back about an MR evo 8 i had that i couldnt get the title due to salvage yard taking their sweet time and making up a ton of bs!!! , so i did some research but i kept getting mixed answer's of yes its easy to no its hard. I do love this forum and believe i can get my answers here. I was wondering if anyone had any first hand experience with this swap and could talk to me about it , A evo 8 to mirage swap. Engine , awd , tranny whatnot. From one other post i seen on this forums earlier it said that the lancer's shared a similar body and makes it somewhat easy to swap out most parts with minor mods. The only other alternative for me is if someone is selling a clean title with matching vins perhaps for a Evo 8...?=)! Thank you for taking the time to read this post!! Aloha!

 

The older versions of the evo could be swapped to a mirage, not sure on the 8. Maybe someone else will chime in. I think it could be possible.

 

Mmmmm. well i also read that the OZ Rally lancer can be done also but the back frame panel or something like that would need to be replaced with the evo8 one for the gas tank.
