<sigh> I know how to calculate MPG. Not knowing how many gallons were used, when listing miles per tank, makes such a discussion lose relevance.

Well the whole thread is irrelevant really? It's and Evo if you want good gas mileage buy a TDI.

People don't put 1000cc Injectors and huge turbos on their car to increase fuel economy lol

How did we go from making legitimate comparisons to all comparisons lacking legitimacy?

I'm merely saying that 95% of the people on this board probably dont care about their gas mileage. I mean do they wish it got better gas mileage? Yeah who wouldn't but would they sacrifice power to achieve that? I doubt it.

Besides the comparisons are a moot point because everyone drives different everyone has different mods and everyone has different tunes.

We might as well all have different cars, I mean look at how each posts mpg varies from the other. So the validity of the information in this thread in conjectural. So to split hairs about someone saying gallons per tank instead of MPG because the mileage is gonna be off slightly due to the gallon or 2 of gas in the tank is so negligible for the simple fact that isn't gonna give any more insight into the next person MPG.

I get about 16 MPG, that's about 50/50 city, highway on E-85, FIC 1350 and the FP Red. I average about 200 miles a tank but have been known to squeeze close to 250 miles if I do a lot of highway driving.

~23mpg with 50/50 right now on stock block. Winter was about 20mpg. I tend to stay out of boost. Got a little over 24mpg 2 weeks ago when my clutch was slipping and I didn't give it more than 10% gas all week (didn't want to be SOL while waiting for shop to take her).

Argument about not using tank is valid since you aren't filling up your car after it's completely bone dry. Also argument about people not caring about mileage is BS. I dd my car and if it got something like 10mpg, it would be gone since I couldn't afford/justify to burn 4 gallons/day on gas alone.

what tables are you adjusting to get your cruise so lean. aggressive Injector scaling? Any tips would be appreciated. I get about 200-225 in the winter and about 230-245 for the tank in summer. no boost. 60/40 highway/local, shifting between 2.5-3.5k rpm. I do get 25+ on my rare highway trips, but city driving is a b*tch. 16-17mpg maybe

OK am I the only guy that gets really really horrible mileage with my 06 IX MR? Last fill up I got 13.75mpg, that's about 175 miles on 12.5-13 gallons 100% city. Just have tbe, self tune, gm 3 port @ 22.5 psi...driving like a grandma. Even with all highway driving I was lucky to get 20-22 mpg. Just did mrfred's mod for closed loop afr control with my wideband and set cruise afr to 15.2....hopefully this helps.

I love this. Hahaha.

I get about 17-18 mpg with fairly non-aggressive driving.
