actuator adjustment problems**
i recently replaced my actuator with a forged one and instead i put the oem back on. But now im having boosting problems. The little "lever" that the actuator connects to(hole at the end of the rod), is not in line with the hole. I think the turbo boosts when the lever is down. So my question is do i need to keep the lever up or down when i connect it to the rod on the actuator. thx everyone
the lever prob wont be inline. just make sure the lever is closed meaning all the way down. if the hole on the actuator is close to the lever you should be able to pull on the rod and it will stretch so that you can slip the hole over the lever. look up FP actuator preload. hope this helps
Another way to push the rod further out is to put pressure into the actuator nozzle and pump approximately 10-15 psi and it will start going out, then you can get the perfect fit to attatch to the lever. But is there a way I could push it back further in Instead of outwards?
