Thumbs up From one X to the next....

Sup everyone, just join the mitsubishi family friday and have enjoyed it ever since. Name is Ryan from SoCal. I'm 25 and now and on my 12th vehicle, my Evo X GSR. I Just had a Toyota Tacoma X-Runner for 2 years, but decided it was time for a change. Bought a 2008 charcoal GSR with 12,000 miles on it. Car is immaculate and a blast to drive. I plan on doing quite a number of performance mods in the future, hopefully starting with exhaust and Cobb accessport. If you are local throw me an email or message and let me know when and where some of you meet up. Hope to meet some of you in the near future.

Well first off welcome second off Im not sure about the X but I would look into other options other then the access port. I never used one personally but I had a body with a WRX that had a lot of problems with his ecu getting locked or some ****.

This was a few years ago but just figured Id give you a heads up to look at your other options.

thanks for the advice man. I haven't really set myself on anything quite yet, still just getting used to the car first, but loving it. Any advice on exhaust systems? Seems like there are too many to choose from!

I'm a bit bias but I say Buschur True dual. My runner up would be ETS.

Welcome to the forums. I'm sure you will find tons of good information on here to help you build your Evo. Any particular goals for the car?

goals are, for the time being, to get quicker. I used to be all into the modding of the outside with carbon and so forth, but as i get older im ok with it looking stock but being much faster. might give it a lower on some coilovers, i would like to do exhaust soon, intake, BOV, downpipe, and other things as i do more research and see what works best for the car.
