Newbie From Austin, Texas
Hey everybody, I'm Arthur from Cedar Park, Texas. Close enough to Austin so I just say Austin... Anyways, I am hoping to be a new owner of a 2010 Lancer DE within the next few months, I'm a relivtively new driver and love modifying cars and especially the thought of modifying my own, therefore I thought that the Lancer is a good choice, the DE was picked because its the cheapest of its class its well, its as much as I can afford while keeping some money on hand for gas and obviously parts. Its unfortunate that companies don't make many performance parts for the Lancer since they focus on the Evolution but it'll be a start like anything else right. Thanks for reading and I hope to see some of you southernors at Cupcake Meet #7, I'll make a post about it in the Southern Forum if anyone doesn't know what it is.
You do realize you can buy a host of preformace parts for the Lancer from RRM right lol. they have a full turbo kit exhaust downpipes testpipes air intakes valve covers etc. Not to mention all the custom turbo kits people have made already. now then again the 2010 lancer did have the 2.4 engine RRM does not have a turbo kit that i know of for that motor yet but if your willing to get a 08 lancer like i have you can get them cheaper so you can get a better model and get the turbo kits. Majority are made for the 2.0 block
Yup RRM is what I've been looking at this whole time, they do indeed have all the parts to get started up. Their Turbo Kit is even available on the 2010 I think, I'll have to contact them and see, thanks for come back.
