Try following the whipers motor wires , and get the wiring diagram and see if the lines are inverted on .

I'm thinking the wiper arm center nut was loose, it maybe allowed the arm to reposition itself and during the rotating of the post the nut tightened up? I'd check the park mechanism of the wiper arm and reposition it. This won't fix your problem if the motor is truely going in the wrong direction though. If that's the case, I've seen a thread on evom about the wiring block in the drivers side lower kick panel getting wet and having corrosion inside the pins. And the rear wiper motor was a direct result of corrosion in the lower kick panel area.

So, first make sure that arm is tightened down in the correct position. If you have to, remove the arm and then turn the rear wiper on then off and let it park itself. Then bolt that arm back on and see what happens. Do this first. Then look at the wiring, might want to look there anyway.

I agree with fueler11. Remember that the wiper is suppose to be on the passenger side and not the driver side.

I feel pretty dumb right now lol but i have my reason....after i locked up the car for winter my rear windshield wiper somehow stayed on the other side! I had no idea i belonged on the other side it looks like a better fit on the opposite side!

Thanks guys for the support...
