Need front brake pads source NOW, HELP!!!

2003 EVO. My only car. Yesterday I found the left inner front brake pad is down to the metal (wore faster than the outer pad with the wear indicator, so no warning!) I checked MitsubishiParts.net, they list the pads as out of stock, 4 to 10 days to get. I need a set of pads, ANY PADS, NOW!!!! There is one small, local dealer I will call tomorrow, hopefully they will have them (yeah, right) but if they do not, I MUST find a set ASAP! Please, if anyone knows of a QUICK source for street type pads, OEM or not, let me know!

TIA

D

On advice from SmikeEvo I purchased EBC redstuff pads that I am now enjoying very much since they have been broken in a little. Try some of the vendors here to see if they have something you want and could maybe overnight them to you. I found the best deal on the pads I got off of Amazon. I remember overnight or at least 2 day air delivery being an option. SmikeEvo, my pads squeak every now and then but Incan live with it. When you want them to work boy do they ever. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the responses. I called another NAPA, and someone who actually knew how to read a parts catalog found me a set at a store ~35 miles south of here. PBR D1076DP. About 60 bucks. Said to have "Advanced Ceramic Technology". Yeah, no doubt. Anyway, should get me back on the road.

Thanks again

Posiquiets are good pads. If you need something immediate, any metallic pad will work for the time being. I have used Kragen's brand without any issues in the past.

PM me with the squeak. I might have some ideas for you.

But the bite the Reds have with a little heat in them is high.

Yeah I like the posiquiets but the dust sucks. I have hawks street ceramics pads now and used to squeek. Found out if the pads are brand new and it squeeks it is probably your rotors, warped or just uneven with the new pads. Haven't had experience with ebc but steered away from it per my trusted friend's advice.
