Sort-of-newbie from Norway..Car now modded:)

Hi guys.

I've been registerd here for a while but haven't been much arround.
I'm at the English MLR forum and I guess I'm just curious of what you guys across the pond do.

I have a black Evo VI TME,as of now is almost stock.

It's too bad that this car wasn't available in the US in 1999-2001.
you've missed out on a full breed rally car for the streets

In a week or so it will be going thru a major uppgrade.

Parts that will be used is:

HKS 264 cams
HKS cam gears
HKS retainers/springs
HKS head gasket
HKS GT 3037S turbo
HKS tubular manifold
HKS GT external wastegate
Manley pistons
Manley rods
ARP studs
ARP rod bolts
ARP bottom end bolts
ACL racing bearings

HKS GD PRO twinplate clutch
HKS downpipe
HKS Dragger exhaust

Ecutek by JRM-Racing Sweden

A few pics of the car:

And one of the turbo kitt..pure craftmanship.

Hope I can be of use if you have any questions regarding the earlier Evos ( IV-V-VI)

Cheers.

Thanks Vivid.
Done some business with you guys a few years ago.Good service.

My guess is 470ish BHP and 430 of torque.
So I'm quite exited to say the least..

In at last!!
I got it in last tuesday with good help from my brother.
He works as a mechanic so we used his workplace as it's more convenient.

De-construction started with the removal of the OEM exhaust system.
No wonder it has breathing problems:rotz:

Side by side with the HKS downpipe:

Then we put the new Denso 690cc' injectors in.

Now it was time to take out the OEM turbo system.
Heavy piece..got it out as a whole unit.

A comparison between the OEM and the 3037S

Beautiful piece of kitt

We tried to put the whole GT3037S kit in without the removal of the radiator..didn't work so out she went.
Lifted the whole thing in and tighten up the bolts.

A custom suction kit made in aluminium was then fitted.

MAF going in.

Then the airfilter..

Suction side now done..never mind the OEM recirc valve..it's been replaced now.:smthumbup

Some "bling" heatshield going in and some heatwrap on the hose from the rad to the reservoir.

Last thing we did was to put in the new EcuTek'd ECU.

She fired on the first turn and purred like a kitten:handsup:

Dyno sheet comming up later..

Thanks for looking and feel fre to comment.

Cheers.
