Hi everyone, I picked up my evo 8 a few months ago (not really that new anymore hehe), and I just had the transfer case rebuit learning about the death whine the hard way.

Anyways, she's back up and running and I was wondering if there were any other things I should know about that need to be maintained. I'm also fairly new to cars (unless you count a honda as a car) so besides the oil changes, what else should I look out for?

 

I would replace the transmission fluid with Redline and change out the diff fluid with Mitsu OEM stuff.

 

What about the oil? The guy I bought it from said he used redline oil which was about $100 an oil change. If its going to maintain my car I'm down but if its not worth it then why bother
