Hey there everybody, long time reader of these forums (mostly the for sale section ) first time poster. Just last week I purchased a mint 2003 TB evo VIII. 100% stock except for an aftermarket stereo. It has slightly over 74k miles and I have reciepts for a tcase rebuild and new clutch\flywheel work all done in june.

Just wanted to say whats up and here are a few pics of my baby.

i'm always skeptical of buying a used car when big work like that has just been recently done...you would think the previous owner would at least enjoy the car a bit more after spending the money.

stock clutch? any signs of it having mods?

either way, congrats and let us know how long she lasts stock!

 

It's an exedy stage 3, which has a harder bite than any clutch I've ever drove on. I took it down to my buddies transmission shop and had it looked over and put up on a lift for me. I think it may have been slightly modded due to some minor spots of bent radiator fins but the car runs fantastic.

Hopefully soon I'll be starting to throw some mods in

Got it for 14k. Not a steal by any means but the condition of the paint and interior made it hard to pass up being so close to home.
