Dont mind you asking about price at all,

I paid 19990
I almost bought an 05 blue evo 8 w/57k miles and not nearly as clean (completly stock except for turbo back perrin exhaust) for 18750, then I found this one....

However, a lot of people seemed to think 20 was a little too much, I have been looking for about 1.5 months and didnt want one that had a lot of engine work done... happy hunting and dont feel stuck to a car like i did, i really fell in love with the blue evo, but within 20 hours of finding this black one on line i was in a different state, and 20k poorer

Looks pretty good. Is your wing oxidized? If you keep it outside it will oxidize. Have a body shop spray with clearcoat to keep it in good condition.

Looks good. If you change your trans fluid and your 4th to 5th issue doesnt go away, you you may need adjust your clutch pedal engagement.

It will be outside under my carport, there is one spot on the wing that has damaged through the clear coat, about a nickle size... Is it too late to have it sprayed?

Thanks for the info, I will be changing the fluids soon, But with my luck I am sure the death whine is around the corner, or the trans is going out...

( I am probably the most paranoid person ever, and I know nothing about cars... yet)

Only thing i noticed, it does not like going QUICKLY from 4th to 5th, i need to give it about half a second, kind of odd, but slides right in ....

I didnt abuse her (yet) still getting used to it, and i want to get fluids changed first
does it just not want to let the gear in?
might be your synchros if it grinds.

+1 or synchro.

wings were recalled for this exact reason.
ask your local mitsu dealer.
i've heard of them replacing wings due to crappy clear.

Ill call a dealer see what they say

The car does a slit grind if i were to slam it from 4th to 5th. It doesnt kick the gear out or do an actual missed shift sort of grind.... just enough to let me know that was not right -

Literally though, if you make the shift 1 second instead of .5 it goes in fine.

I hope there is nothing major wrong

Congrats nothing like the drive home in your Evo VIII! Mine does the same thing from 3rd to 4th its probobly the syncro... The VII's commonly have syncro issues, I've heard there were recalls but I'm not sure.
