I have an 03 Evo with JDM headlights that came with the car. These are the HID headlights. My passenger headlight had started flickering then completely shut off. I got a quote from someone and they said for just one bulb (the one that fits on these headlights) is like $200. My question is:

What kind of HID Kits can you use with these lights? (Kinda wanted to switch the ballast to).

And is that complete bs that there is only one bulb that fits on my car and it $200.?

yes it is BS. use the search function here. all you need to replace is the bulb. you can get good bulbs for less than $50.

I tried searching and all that keeps coming up is "Vendors selling JDM lights" on here. I keep seeing like "h7 h3 D2 etc..." I guess what I'm trying to get at is to see where to get these bulbs from. And what is the difference between the codes "h7 h3 blah blah blah".

 

I'm not trying to go back stock I have 10000k Light blue bulbs in right now. but just one went out

 

...that's why it burnt, those 1.000.000.000k bulbs are no good for lighting up the road (which is the only pourpose of a bulb after all), if you want some good advise, get a set of philips D2S 4300K bulbs at amazon.com or any other place (amazon sells them for around 70 a piece) and they will last and perform a MILLION times better than what you have now. Also, I wouldn't change the OEM ballast for an HID kit, no "HID kit" on earth will perform/last better/longer than the OEM setup. Just my opinion.
