Need 50 posts just to post in Marketplace, but post count won't go up

So I keep posting because for some reason I can't reply to any post in the marketplace until I get 50 posts, but every time I post, my post count never goes up. It's been at 5 for the last 10 posts, maybe more. WTF?

You can post a million times in the same thread, it will only count for 1 post. U need to post in different threads.

yeah, i understand the need to control who posts stuff for sale, but the post counter is stingy here lol.

i also feel like an a** because i have to search out threads that i can make useless posts on to get my count up (trying to just use dyno threads to not be a total pain)

Only posts in specific sections of the forum count towards your total.

Well that's just dumb. I'm not trying to sell anything, I've been looking for a X for awhile, so it'd just be nice to post on some of the Cars for Sale threads. Guess I'll stick to PMing.

Play by the rules or the mods will start taking posts away from your count

I am playing by the rules, I'm not making a bunch of useless posts, but it's just annoying that pretty much none of my posts have been counting.
