there's nothing wrong with beating on the EVO. the EVO was made to be beaten.

to the OP, congrats on the new car. Don't wreck it, and don't rice it out. Take it to an autocross or track day and learn how to drive it. that's where you'll really appreciate what you just bought, and get a real sense of what the car can do.

Just totaled my Mazdaspeed 3. Hit a huge deer and totaled the car. Gonna by an evo x gsr sss package. The Civic SI just sucks for the money. Congrats on your evo

I always thought the opposite. For ~$22k Honda offers a very reliable, great handling, reasonably quick and comfortable sedan with road manners that greatly overshadow its price. Not a bad deal.

yea i kno but the previous owner was beating the shyt out of her and the people at the dealer did too. ofcourse i found out after i bought her. one of my friends work there and had told me when he saw my with the evo. plus within 2 days clutch started slipping and of rotors was warped and rusted like crazy on inside. herb chamber honda denied and repair or anything. customer service sux unless you have warenty and they say clutch is wear n tear. dsg fixed everything. got exedy stage 1 clutch and act streetlight fly.

Welcome to the Evo world. You don't need much to get this cars to go. Unless you wanna run 9s right away, keep it the way it is. 400/400 hp and tq is probably the most fun car to drive.

Nice upgrade. I'm in the same boat, I currently have a 99' GSR but I'm looking into an evo now. Just hard to find one in my area.
