ive always loved terminators and really wanted one before i got my evo. i just wanted to know if the fun factor is still there when you switch. obviously the handling is not the same but jesus christ those things are fast. any comments or thoughts on people who switch or went from the cobra to the evo would help.

my best friend has a cobra and with a few simple mods they are crazy fast and hard to beat but handle horrably.... so it's up to you weather u wanna go fast in a straight line or corner like a super car

 

If it were me i would say evo... cobra's are very clunky and no as well put together

 

if youve ever made corners in an evo, you would never think twice about the cobra

 

never driven or road in a x so i cant compair a cobra to them but i can compare a cobra to a evo 9 my roomate in college had one as said they dont handle well and suck in the snow 4 people also do not fit well and you have to be gentle to the rear end of the car my friend got into alittle wheel hop once in the rain and that was the end of that tow truck had to come and get us but as far as launching it took everything he could throw at it. they both are 11sec cars with bolt ons its really just depends on what you want.

 

had an 04 gto before the evo. two completely different animals, comparing them for enjoyment is just not possible.

 

I could never own a Mustang. I hate mustangs with a passion.

how can one let go of a 4g63? Not bashing on the cobra because it is a highly respectable car but the EVO man i dont know man is their something wrong with your head?

I believe that the 03-04 Cobras (and the 01 for that matter) had an independent rear to get better handling. It worked in comparison to other Mustangs but made hooking them up really hard.

Look at a new GT, those things are really great.
