Newby warranty questions.

Hey guys i just got my Evo 9, my husband bought it for me as a going away present because im leaving for basic training in a couple weeks. I had a few questions that could maybe be answered on here before i start calling people so i got on his account here (he hasn't even used it yet so it will prolly just become mine haha)

First off i guess, its a 2006 ix mr se. Its got about 49,000 miles on it.

Problem one, cant tell if maybe im just being over sensitive or not but it sounds like it might have a couple wheel bearings going bad, im running 245 potenza RE01's though so i dont know if its just road noise. anyone have experience with these tires?

Problem two, small clicking sound when i turn, doesnt seem to be a cv joint just a slight click when i turn slowly.

and lastly, check engine light is on and the po said i had to do with the rear 02 sensor, i looked at it, seems as though the ground wire is ripped on the o2 sensor.

Will the warranty cover most of this? What do i need to be saying to these guys to get there help with this. I havent ever owned a car with a warranty on it so this is new to me.

thanks and sorry about the dumb questions. my husband just bought me this car and i want to make sure its good before i leave for basic training.

its totally stock except for an apexi turbo timer. oh and i think the clicking may be coming from the inside, it doesn't sound mechanical and it doesnt do it at any repeatable pace, just sometimes under light acceleration from a stop, when the windows are up, i hear a faint clicking sound. but mainly id realy like to get rid of the damn cel

I would take it to a dealer than, if the turbo timer is the only mod than you should be good. Just remember ANYTHING else they will try to void the warranty, in case you didnt already know. Good luck with it!

If it is still under warr. the only thing i see them covering is the wheel bearings (if they are bad ) the damaged o2 will not be and i bet the click you hear when you turn is the rear lsd..?

I would assume that the warranty would cover it, though it depends on what the dealership (or Mitsubishi regional rep) says, as they sometimes attribute things to mods. That aside, you're within the warranty period. Evos have powertrain warranties of 10 years/100,000 miles, though subsequent owners after the first and original owner get it reduced to 5 years/60,000 miles, which it sounds like you're still within.
