hey guys when i bought my evo it was not in working condition.
the guy gave me a headlight from a different year it seems. it has a fog light but the other stock one doesnt. i bought the entire front end wiring from a 05 evo mr. mine is just the regular evo8.
problem is, that the new headlight that has a fog-light will not plug up to the wiring. do i need to buy a headlight that is off a 05 without a fog light? also, does this mean its not equipped with HIDs?

All Evo 8/9's with foglights were also HID-equipped. This included all 2003, MR, GSR SSL, and IX GSR SE models.

 

so basically, all evo headlights with HIDs have fog lights and different wiring harness. the evo without fog lights, do not have HIDs and have a different wiring harness...
correct?

 

SOO., basically all you need is "non-hid headlights". Years 2003-2006
