Insurance rates

Ok this is my first post and my Question is how much should i expect to pay for insurance for an EVO. I've gotten a few quotes for about $2400 for the year or if i pay in full every 6months it drops to $2160 for the year. Is this a fair deal? Progressive has had the best price from all the companys that i have called. I'm about to turn 25 in 6 weeks and i only have one ticket in the past 5 years for 50 in a 35. Help me out because i got all my money saved up to buy the car but i got to find the best deal on insurance first. Thanks

dude wait till you are 25 because you can only change rates or olicies every 6 months and if you buy before you turn 25 you weill get locked into that rate for 6 months. I bought mine a month before I turned 25 , and waited till I was 25 to insure it. it was like a 500 savings for the yr.well worth it.

Yeah, wait till 25, your rates will drop by a decent amount. If you're keeping the GTI try to get both of your cars insured by the same company. Not sure how is it in Maryland but here in NJ you get a discount on the 2nd car. Good luck.
