opinion on a used evo 9

I currently own a 09 ralliart, looking to sell it. One idea I had was getting an older evo 8/9. Thing is obviously they are rare to buy, esp at a dealer, but a dealer about 80 miles from me (san antonio) has a white 9 for sale. here's a link. Obviously would wanna see the carfax and i saw the sticky about checking out a used evo before buying. My question is the mileage is at 72,500 miles. Is it worth buying an evo with that many miles. The car would be my daily driver. I would prefer to find a low mileage one and pay more but wanted to see what opinions are on a high mileage evo like that.

Thanks

Trust me, you don't want this thread on General.

What is the dealer asking for the car?

They didn't list the price, either on that autotrader post or their website.

I looked at the ad and didn't see a price. That's why I asked. To start, you'd want to know the price, a detailed mod list, a Carfax, and whatever other info the dealer may have. You're asking folks to opine with no real information.

80 miles is a short trip considering the investment you're thinking of making.

Head down there with a camera, snap some pictures of the engine bay, look at the color of the Brembos (dark Brown means they look like mine and means it was tracked ) the rotors, wheel wells, and if you take it for a test drive note the pedal feel and responsiveness.

Then report back! We'll be able to help a lot more with that info.

Good luck!
