Hi fellas, picking up a stock IX this weekend.

How are you guys? My name's Tom and I'm picking up a clean Electric Blue Evo IX this weekend. Been looking for about 6 months now for one, this particular car is in nice shape.

Little bit about me, I love all types of cars and I'm an industrial design engineer out of the Finger Lakes, NY state's Wine Country. I currently own a Chrysler 300M Special, a Legacy 5-speed and my '68 Mustang fastback.

Looking forward to reading up on what my new baby can do and how to provide care and feeding.

Thanks!
Tom

Liking it so far. I lurked the 1-9 FS forums for a few months, then I started reading some of the Evo articles. Very cool, I can't wait to get started!

Welcome to the forum, Tom. Might want to stop at STM and have the car checked out. Best of luck.

^ That is a definite possibility. Car is overdue for the timing belt, plus it wouldn't hurt to have experienced eyes go over it for any further issues.

Exactly. Stick around for a while and you'll see why I suggested it. Buying a used Evo is never as foolproof as it seems. The guys at STM will take care of you.
