Silly question but I tried searching for quite some time and no answer. Are the Evo VIII and IX valve covers the exact same fitment, or is there a difference between the Mivec and non-Mivec 4G63 in VC perspective?

Hi, they're different due to the Mivec pulley....I needed to know myself a while back ( put 9 head on 8 block ).

 

it will not fit.
Not because of the Pulley, but because of the cam angle sensor on the intake side.
