Been drivng my new (at least new to me) IX for about three days now and notice there seems to be a lot of rubber-banding in the drivetrain. I would not describe it as play or looseness, just cushy feeling - like there are soft rubber bushings. I notice it more when in reverse and backing up and feathering the clutch. Is that a charateristic of these cars or should I look into it? I noticed the same thing in my BMW M3, but it a much much lesser degree. Thanks for your help. By the way, the car has 22K miles on it and still under warrantee.
