Unhappy What fluid do I use for my 06 MR 6spd trans?

I looked through the site but couldn't find a definitive answer.... Need to change it since I just bought the car. Car has 60K miles. Thanks for your help guys.

I just changed the transfer case and rear diff with DiaQueen LSD

Also just changed the oil with Mobil 10w-30 and factory filter.

you've got a couple options. the recommended OEM fluid is Diaqueen 75w-85 GL-4 oil or DIRECT eqivalent. the only direct equivalent I've found is a fully synthetic 75w-85 GL-4 fluid made by castrol for the Dodge Neon SRT-4 and some other cars in their lineup. the stuff is a little cheaper than the Diaqueen, and feels better than Amsoil. Amsoil is GL-4, but it's 75w-90 which is what is recommended for the 5 SPEED, NOT the 6 speed. I had Amsoil in my transmission for a little while, but replaced it with the castrol/mopar fluid. it feels a lot better with the mopar fluid than Amsoil.

Go OEM Diaqueen, or the Mopar fluid.
