As long as it has a proper tune, DD will be no prob. Otherwise, built engine and transmission is a big bonus.

No such thing......it may look stock......but that doesn't mean it was in its previous life.

Here is my expert take on this situation. If i could do it all again I would buy a built car from jump street just have it check out by a reiable evo shop. Have it inspected aggressively with a fine comb check tuning out for leaking all the typical stuff as well. All this buy it stock garbage is a joke. By now most of the evos have had some mods in some way. Then you could be a victumn of the back to stock sorry conversions missing peaces bolts etc. Here are the reason to buy it built from jump street

1. YOU SAVE MONEY. People dont realize how much it cost to build these cars im talking full build block and all not basic bolt on. Thats like 20k in parts Plus labor

2. Save time. Downtime is the worst thing ever. Waiting as mods are installed or parts are ordered takes time and that time you will not be driving your car and something else. Just paying a hotass carnote for something you dont have.

3. Most of the time low miles on motor so you know its not beat to death. Now car may have been beat on but you know the motor can handle it if it was built properly of course

4. MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. in most cases the seller is loosing a ton of money on the deal thats 20k your putting in your pocket.

Bad things about buying built

1. Could be a train wreck build

2. Again somebodies unfinished project could be your winter project

3. Didnt use quality parts in build and cheaped out on parts example reusing waterpump h beam rods etc

4. Screwed up tune causing havoic on alot of things

5. YOU WILL NEVER REALLY KNOW WHATS ALL IN THE MOTOR SINCE YOU DID NOT BUILD IT. example Im using Manley I beam rods and eagle crank. The seller could really have H beam rods and Stock crank.

6. Could be lying about have certain bolt on parts. example ported intake and Throttle body

7. Strange noises and sounds coming from the car not knowing where its coming from or whats causing it

8. Takes all the joy away from you doing the build and saying built not bought and you putting your personal touches on it but some dont care about that they just want a built ride.

Again all these should be checked out and looked over by a REAL EVO shop to set all these fears aside

Here is another great deal built evo you can buy my friends car was built by jms and has all the goodies just needs a bigger turbo boss i can vouch for this car as I was around when it was being put together
