Ive been larking around here for a couple weeks now, decided to post. I am hopefully buying my friends 03 silver evo 8 in December when I come home for block leave for the army. Its got hks tbe, walbro 255, musi licp, buschur mbc, 10.5 hotside, megan 02 housing, megan coilovers, short through shifter, and grupes flywheel. If I dont pick it up Ill be picking up a evo during that period of time or in february when my AIT gets done. Im new to the turbo world but not new to forced induction. I have a 01 grand prix gt thats got heads and up off a gtp (supercharged), headers, cam, ls6 valve springs, ssic with stg3 fmhe, 3.0 pulley, 42# injectors, bigger fuel pump, and cai. The tune is rich right now and havnt takin it to the track but it should be a low 12 high 11 sec car with a leaner tune. Not bad for having around $2500 into the motor. I could post some pictures of it if you guys want. I cant wait till I get a evo and start modding it. I plan on putting some gsc s2 cams in and maybe a few other things. Then getting it tuned at buschur or ams.

 

Welcome to the wonderfull world of evo's these cars are great and can make crazy power but deff aren't budget friendly when you start racing them.

I've had a lot of different cars and the evo so far has been my favorite. Sounds like your Grand Prix is a fun little sleeper huh?

 

Yea its quite a sleeper. Except for at idle it sounds like a cammed v8.
