Turbo M3 spanked me at a drag event
What can I do to improve car has an HPF kit. I use to be an M3 before being an Evo guy. This car is an E46 model and it dynoed at over 500 whp
I would put 3 cars on it but when we were at the 1/6th of a mile point it would just clutch up to me and put 2-3 cars on me at the same time 4th gear would just not go in my car. I think my pressure plate is bad.
My car has an old school FP Green on it and a subtle tune its not fully tuned. The tuner put some maps on it and said he would retune but just dissapeared when I call him.
With an FP Red and Kelford 272 would thinks change for me?
(BTW this drag event had no 1/4 mile time it was at an old airport but the length is 420 meters)

and to answer your question,... for one fix w/e is wrong with your car for you not to be able to go into 4th,.. (change tranny oil, bleed clutch, ss clutch line, solid shifter bushing underhood and in car).
and see about getting that green built into a black, with some gsc s2 cams, and get your car retuned on some e85 and walla. youll walk em.

I want a black & kelford 272 but if GSC S2 are better ill go with those.
I have an Evo 9 turbo lying in my garage which I can get built into a black.
I mean when I took off I dusted his *** but 4th would not go in. I know its not the trans internal because when im going slow or am not redlining it goes in.
At the drag event i was beating WRX left and right. There was one Evo but it had a GT35 so that thing was out of my class.
Yes update your set up. BBK-B, cams, and some MAP ported manifolds. Red or Black is good but do you really want to wait for months upon months? Look into the clutch and upgrading the line like mentioned before.
Oh good tune on good fuel is vital. Try Tephra mod. No lift to shift will really help you out.

If you're saying that he's beating you because you not being able to shift into 4th, why don't you take care of that first before doing anything else. Because, even if you get the black with kelford 272 or GSC S2 cams, it wouldn't make any difference as you can't shift into 4th anyway.

It does exist!!!!! lol
Yeah I have mix feelings too specially in panama where people don't have experience with this and gladiel tuning comes every 2 or 3 months and charges are around 1k to tune.
