possible failing ball joint? opinions please

I have TEIN Flexes setup on my 06GG along with a whole bunch of other parts when I had the ROBISPEC setup done. Up front I have the whiteline front roll center kit. As of recently the passenger front has been clunking more then usual( i know these cars are noisy) upon further inspection today I found that grabbing the wheel at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock and pushing and pulling toward the center of the car in a wiggle motion not only makes the noise but has a good amount of play. After taking the wheel off, I did the same thing grabbing the rotor/caliper and motioning in the same direction. The ball joint in the lower control arm under under the strut/hub assembly has visible play and makes noise when moving. To make sure Im not crazy i performed the battery of tests on the driver side and it is nice and tight, no play whatsoever. My question is, can the balljoint be serviced ( I dont think so but might as well ask) and does anyone know if they can be purchased individually from white line? thanks guys

I had mine replaced by whiteline for free, the whole kit. The earlier version had wear issues and there replacing the whole kit, with a return box for the old kit for examination. Do a little searching and you'll find the information your looking for.

did you contact whiteline directly for the replacement? about how long ago did you purchase/have them replaced? When you say earlier versions what year are we talking? searching has yielded less then stellar results. Thanks again

The original kit was purchased and installed Dec. 06, I'm not sure when the new kit came out. I just called them with zero issues invalved. They were very helpfull and did not try to nickel and dime me at all, gave me the whole kit free. I just replaced the Ball Joints this past weekend, took only two hours for both fronts. I believe it was GTWorks that provided the contact info. Good Luck.
