First Evo

I'm a road race junkie and recovering Honda addict. I've built many Hondas over the past 12 years but have decided that returning to Mitsubishi will help me take care of those damn Porsches at the track. I spent the mid-late 90s in a 3000GT, recently picked up an 06 Apex Silver MR IX. Has 24,000 miles, unknown downpipe, unknown test pipe, Greddy cat-back, and Defi gauges. The front of the car said "hello" to a hill side. I'm in the midst of selling my turbo civic and Mugen Si to fund the collecting of parts for the rebuild.

Now for the Noob question. Among the many parts i need are hood, fenders, headlights. Do these need to be from a IX?
I know the front bumper cover is different.

Thanks for having such a great community of enthusiast!

Damn bro tough break, people tend to mess up these cars badly when they exceed the limits of what the car can actually do. Ive seen worse atleast you still have whats left of your front bumper I didn't.

looks like you will need to find quite a few parts - i would suggest buying a mtchell crash guide to get all the part numbers so you dont miss anything

I wasn't clear in my original post, it came pre-bent for an unbelievable price.
Tough break for the original owner...score for me!
Thanks for the heads up on the crash guide!

Okay first off your going to need a front bumper cover, radiator, headlights, fenders hood you can get one aftermarket for 300 instead of paying $1,000 for the hood. Radiator $180 with slimfans from ebay, radiator support dont know about that one prolly like $100 and the front end will need to be pulled probably. Did the air-bags blow? ohyeah looked at it further intercooler you can get one here used for a decent price or at a shop if theya re building it up and the piping too. You should check out my thread man mine was in worse shape than yours. How much did you get it for?

I have a fairly good parts list. Have an intake, UICP, LICP, small batt kit, and a few misc items. Waiting on the intercooler and rad to arrive. Front rails approx 1/8" tword drivers side. Bags are blown, windshield cracked. I'm collecting what I can before dropping it of at the body shop. It was cheap enough to go through the hassle over purchasing one that's ready to roll. Aside from the "dinger" it's mint.
